"We hope to engage our students in a real life experience of being the hands and feet of Christ," explained youth director Randy Alexander. "By sending them out to homes in their local community, we want them to learn the value of servant hood and community outreach."
The group will take on a total of 20 to 30 homes and residents must be home that weekend to qualify. The deadline for filing applications is Feb. 28.
To apply, contact Patty White or Stephen Soulen at 770-487-6499, or pick up an application at the church's Welcome Center.
The Peachtree City UMC is located on two campuses; 400 Windgate Rd. and 225 Robinson Rd.
