Joan Green, a member of the Martha Stewart Bulloch Chapter, National Daughters of the American Revolution, will deliver the patriotic items on behalf of the school to the Atlanta VA Medical Center in Decatur.
"The service and sacrifices made by our veterans to preserve our freedom as Americans has not gone unnoticed at Sara Harp Minter Elementary School," according to a school spokesperson. "Their support of our veterans is something our community can be proud of."
