This is not just another pancake breakfast, but Peachtree City's premier mid-winter social event. Friends and family gather to share a meal, enjoy each others company and have a great time. Kids are entertained with free face painting and by the antics of clowns. Adults are serenaded by a strolling barbershop quartet. Plenty of free parking is available with assistance provided by members of the McIntosh and Starr's Mill High School Key Clubs.
Last year the club served 10,000 pancakes to over 2800 hungry citizens. The tremendous success from this fund raiser coupled with the organization's other functions resulted in the club giving back over $35,000 to the community in support of over 40 charitable causes and service projects. The club's primary focus is aimed at improving the health and well being of children. To view photos taken at last year's event please visit the club's website at peachtreecitykiwanis.org .
