Fayette County couple leaves for Ukraine today

Fayette Countians Jeremy and Tracy Davidson will leave for Rivne, Ukraine, today where they will be full time missionaries in that region. This is the Davidson family's first full time missionary position, and they will be in Ukraine a minimum of two years.

As members of Woolsey Baptist church, the Davidsons have been on several short term mission trips to Ukraine and Mexico. On this trip, they will be missionaries thru Operation Mobilization (OM) in Tyrone.

Jeremy will be part of OM's "Sportslink" team in Ukraine. He will be introducing Christ through sports, mainly soccer. The son of Troy and Cindy Davidson of Fayetteville, he is a 1994 graduate of Fayette County High School where he played soccer.

Tracy will be a part of the Women's Ministry, teaching the Bible in her home and in women's groups.

The Davidsons are both graduates of Bryan College in Dayton Tenn. They have three children, Brynn, Landon and Beckham.
