Union City's plan is moving forward to create a town center for the South Fulton city.
During the last City Council meeting, the council approved three sections to the town's zoning ordinance to help move the process forward.

Signage references would be moved to the Sign Ordinance. A minimum size for building markers from 6 to 8 inches completed the proposed amendment.
After being given a Powerpoint presentation on the LCI Master Plan mixed use district known as "Market and Main" which illustrated the future use of the town center, the motion was carried by Mayor Ralph Moore and the City Council.
