This holiday season, Georgia Dance Theatre will present a spectacular twist on a traditional family favorite. The Nutcracker Tea is Dec. 4 at 2 p.m. at Kedron Elementary School in Peachtree City. The tea will include treasured excerpts from the classic Nutcracker Suite presented by the dance company.
A fully interactive family event, the Nutcracker Tea gives every child in the audience, ages three and older, a chance to participate. Girls are encouraged to wear their favorite party dresses for a special dance with Clara and the Sugar Plum Fairy. Boys help the brave Nutcracker Doll battle the nefarious Rat King. An array of goodies from the "Land of the Sweets" will be served, along with a very special visit from everyone's favorite holiday hero-Santa Claus!
Be part of the show this year by dancing alongside classic Nutcracker characters on stage with Georgia Dance Theatre, a unique opportunity to introduce your children to dance and the arts.
