Student designs winning postcard for Carter’s birthday bash

Winning postcards from each grade level from across Georgia were enlarged

and displayed on the stage of the restored Plains High School, which now

serves as the museum and visitor center for the Jimmy Carter National Historic

Site.

Eileen McGann, Olivia's teacher at Peeples, said she was thrilled with

the honor.

"Olivia is very excited," McGann said. "She is new to Peeples

this year so it has been a great boost for her."
