Blackburn is a professor of New Testament at Atlanta Christian College,
where he has taught for the last 19 years. He has a B.A. degree from Harding
University and a Ph.D. in New Testament from the University of Aberdeen in
Scotland. He and his wife, Kathy, are members of the Southern Crescent Church
of Christ in Tyrone.
A family meal, catered by different local restaurants, is served each Wednesday
from 5:30-6:30 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults and $3 for ages kindergarten
through fifth grade. Children 4 years and under are free. Reservations are
required. Contact the church office, 770-461-1487, to make a dinner reservation.
