David Mitchell, president of the Black Jack Riding Chapter, and Laura Markovic, vice-president, were pleased to report that over $8,000 was raised that day.
"All the money went directly to the family to help with the expenses incurred from Tim's courageous fight against his disease," said Markovic. "Words could not describe how we felt by just being a small part of this great day."
"We would like to thank John Metcalf of Full Throttle, the folks at Arctic Circle, the generous prize donations from vendors and everybody for all their support and for coming out for the ride," Heget said.
Donations for the Cobb family are still being accepted at The Bank of Georgia. Ask for the Tim Cobb Memorial Fund.
