Jailbirds will make last-minute calls using cell phones donated by T-Mobile to reach friends family and co-workers in an attempt to raise their "bail." A meal by Right on Thyme Catering and Mrs. B's Catering will also be provided to participants.
Proceeds will be used to provide services for individuals with neuromuscular disease including MDA clinic visits at Emory University Center for Rehabilitative Medicine and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite along with the local MDA summer camp at Camp Twin Lakes in Rutledge, a week-long camp for kids ages 6-21 with neuromuscular diseases. Also funded are support group sessions and assistance with medical equipment.
And of course, funds will help fund vital research to find cures for over 40 neuromuscular diseases.
