Car show set for this weekend

The Fourth Annual "Cars for Kids Show and Festival" benefiting Georgia Baptist Children's Homes and Family Ministries will be held at the Palmetto Campus, 9250 Hutchinson Ferry Road (just 15 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport off I-85, exit #56), Saturday, Sept. 25, from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Dozens of antique, classic, hot rods, and unique cars and trucks will be on display, as well as various booths featuring baked goods, arts and crafts, a large children's activities area, and a variety of food concessions.

A $25 registration fee is required to enter a vehicle in the judged event and general admission is free. Trophies will be awarded in three categories: Cars, Trucks, and Specialty/Modified Vehicles.

It's fun for the whole family and there's something for everyone to enjoy.
