Kits will be collected Wednesday, Sept. 8, from 7-8 p.m. at the church,
2021 Redwine Rd. in Fayetteville.
Each kit will include one double receiving blanket, 36-45 inches square;
four cloth diapers (disposable diapers are not accepted); four diaper safety
pins; one pair of booties or baby socks; two regular size bars of Ivory soap;
and one newborn layette gown (no footed sleepers - no snaps, strings,
buttons or zippers).
The church will furnish free patterns for booties, diapers and layette items,
for those who wish to make them.
Kits will be assembled Thursday, Sept. 16, at 7 p.m. when the church will
be open to the public.
