Heritage residents will hold a torch processional through the building as
a kickoff to the opening ceremonies which precedes a wide variety of "Events" which
will challenge the skill and dexterity of the participants. Two specific
things that residents are especially looking forward to are the "Dance-A-Thon," where
residents will "dance til they drop" to live music, and the "Wheelchair
Obstacle Course," where residents on motorized carts will compete against
time and accuracy. Gold, silver and bronze medalts will be awarded at the
special ceremony Aug. 20, with a celebration party following.
