"We're very excited about the warm welcome the East Point community
has shown us since we opened last year," said Melissa Winkfield, operator
of the Chick-fil-A on Camp Creek Parkway. "This celebration is a way
for us to thank our friends and neighbors throughout the community for supporting
our restaurant. We look forward to returning the support for many years to
come."
Since the opening of the restaurant one year ago, Winkfield and her Unit
Marketing Director, Valerie Simmons, have committed the restaurant to staying
involved with the community. While school is in session, the location hosts
several School Spirit Nights each month. On these nights a portion of the
store's sales benefit the participating schools.A few of the schools
that have participated in Spirit Nights are Camp Creek Elementary, Bethune
Elementary, Philip Randolph Elementary, Park Lane Elementary, Hamilton E.
Holmes Elementary, and West Lake High School.Winkfield and her team continue
to look forward to continuing to host the monthly event.
