Candidate Forum July 8
The Fayette County Chamber of Commerce and the Metro Fayette Kiwanis
Club are hosting the first of several "Meet the Candidates" Forums
July 8 at 7 p.m. at Starr's Mill High School Auditorium.
The Forum is open to the public and will featurecandidates forFayette
County Commission Post 2 (incumbent Herb Frady vs. David Simmons) and
Post 3 (incumbent Peter Pfeifer vs. Sam Chapman). Thecandidateswill
be asked challenging questions about current issues.
The Forum will be cablecast live on Comcast channel 24, and also taped
for later viewing.
There is no charge for the event, which is open to the public. For more
information, contact the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce office at
