Crash kills Jonesboro woman

Deroller-Mayes was taken to Atlanta Medical Center with serious injuries that were believed to be non-life threatening, deputies said.

It is unclear why Straughan's vehicle crossed the center line, deputies said.

Both drivers were wearing their seat belts and the collision destroyed both vehicles, deputies said.

The investigation into the crash is not complete but deputies do not anticipate filing any charges in connection with the wreck.
