According to the rough draft distribution plan passed around at the Tyrone meeting last week, unincorporated Fayette projects would qualify for $18 million, while Peachtree City would earn $12.8 million, Fayetteville $4.5 million, Tyrone $1.6 million and Brooks $227,000.

Brown intially wanted a straight split of the revenue based on population, declaring that Peachtree City deserved 35 percent of the total because it was home to 35,000 of Fayette's estimated 100,000 people.

On March 3, he presented Dunn and others with his own priority list that only asked for about $22 million.

"If I was Greg Dunn I'd take that deal and run," Brown said at tne time.

The city's position in the fight was among the topics discussed Friday during the Peachtree City Council's annual retreat at the Wyndham Conference Center.

Dunn was undeterred lat last week.

"We're not waltzing with him," he said of Brown.

"We'll try again to seek an agreement with those guys (Peachtree City Council) but we aren't going to give them a higher percentage of the pie," said Dunn.
