The grant, one of several given
each year by PETsMART Charities, will be used to purchase equipment to
spay/neuter pets at the animal shelter. Currently, animals are transported
to an off-site veterinarian's office for the procedures.
New equipment will include
an autoclave, a surgical table, an anesthesia machine, a microscope, a
centrifuge and other surgical equipment.
