Brooks Mayor Bobby Butler has announced the swearing in of three councilmen
at the town's Jan. 19 meeting.
Post 3 has been filled by Dan Langford, who will begin his second term;
the Post 4 representative is Fran Bauer, who will also begin her second
term; and Post 5 is filled by Tom Windom, who was elected to take the
place of Mike Hanson. Hanson served a total of 12 years as a councilman.
Mayor Butler said that the remodeling of Hardy Hall, the town's
offices and meeting center, is right on schedule. It is expected to be
completed by the end of January.
The regular meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m.
