The church began as a mission
church when the first Mass was celebrated in the American Legion Log Cabin
in downtown Fayetteville in August of 1987. It was named an official parish
of the Archdiocese of Atlanta on Oct. 1, 1993.
Today, St. Gabriel's,
located on Antioch Rd. off Ga. Hwy. 92 South, is home to more than 625
families in Fayette County.
For more information on the
Mass or specific directions to the church, call 770-461-0492.
