David Cree,
a Fayette County Master Gardener and experienced bird enthusiast, will
lead the guided walk along the creek in the Flat Creek Nature Area, adjacent
to the amphitheater on McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City.
Mid-October
is the best time to spy tropical songbirds migrating through our area
on their way south. Walkers may spot warblers and many colorful birds.
This is a great way to enjoy the glorious fall weather and learn about
nature.
SCT invites
participants to bring binoculars and meet at the Flat Creek Nature Center
on McIntosh Trail Saturday at 8 a.m.
