Maybe that is why Congress
noted the words, "One nation under God," will help us to keep
constantly in our minds and hearts the spiritual and moral principles,
which alone give dignity to man, and upon which our way of life is founded.
Maybe that is why our American
government was founded on the belief that the human person is important
because he was created by God and endowed by Him with certain inalienable
rights, which no civil authority may usurp.
Definitely, that is why we
must remember that America's greatest blessings have come from God; America's
greatest threat comes from God; and America's only hope will come from
God. God bless America.
