The art department
held a T-shirt design contest for this year's homecoming. Elizabeth Turner,
sophomore at Newnan High, created the winning design. These T-shirts are
on sale before and after school in the front lobby from 8-8:30 a.m. and
from 3:30-4 p.m. for $8.
A different
theme each day of the week promotes school spirit and encourages students
to join the fun during homecoming week. Students are encouraged to dress
for: College/Hat Day (Monday), Tacky Day (Tuesday), Costume/Twin Day (Wednesday),
Cougar Carnival Day (Thursday), and Cougar Day (Friday).
