"We'll
provide fresh, high-quality meals that are a step above fast food,"
said Michael. "In addition to individual meals, we also offer a variety
of party platters ideal for events at work, home and even tailgating."
In addition
to being a partner, Glenfield will also serve as general manager of the
new Zaxby's. He is accepting applications to staff the new restaurant
and expects to hire nearly 40, primarily cooks and cashiers. Individuals
are encouraged to either call or fax a resume to 770-716-3298.
"The key
to success at Zaxby's is a great smile and a willingness to learn and
grow," said Glenfield. "We're a different kind of restaurant
with a different kind of attitude - from the food and service we provide
to our customers, to the respect we provide to each other."
Zaxby's success
is rooted in a simple operating philosophy developed by its founders that
has matured into the company's mission statement "consistently create
encore experiences that enrich lives one person at a time." That
statement is not only the driving force behind the company's pursuit to
provide fresh, delicious food and excellent customer service, it's also
what helps the company create a vibrant atmosphere for employees. Zaxby's
places a special emphasis on customer service and believes that is best
achieved by first creating a great atmosphere for employees.
Zaxby's most
popular items are its hand-breaded fresh chicken fingers and fresh jumbo
Buffalo wings, smothered in a choice of eight sauces with names like Wimpy,
Tongue Torch, Nuclear and Insane. An alternative to fast food, Zaxby's
offers fresh, prepared-to-order chicken wings, Nuggetz, Fingerz and Zalads.
The menu offers innovative Zappetizers - Tater Chips (home-style potato
chips), Onion Peel and made-from-scratch Spicy Fried Mushrooms.
Zaxby's is
a "quick-casual" restaurant chain headquartered in Athens, Ga.
Zaxby's has more than 155 restaurants throughout the Southeast. The Zaxby's
menu features fresh, made-from-scratch chicken fingers, Buffalo wings,
