The Memory

Walk is a community event that not only includes a 5K (3.1-mile) walk

but is also a fun, family affair with a complimentary breakfast and music

provided by Peachtree Jazz Edition prior to the walk. Afterwards the Peachtree

City Kiwanis will serve a hamburger and hotdog lunch free of charge. There

will also be drawings for prizes. It is a wonderful way to raise both

money and awareness for this disease which affects four million Americans.

This year's

walk will begin at the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater. Registration

is from 8-9:30 a.m. with runners starting at 9:15 a.m. and walkers at

9:30 a.m. Everyone is encouraged to bring their children, grandchildren,

friends, neighbors and even pets to the event. For more information, visit

www.southernmemorywalk.org.
