Trobaugh will

be especially talking about her latest book, "Swan Place," recently

released by Penguin Putnam Inc. But her many fans will be asking questions

about her three previous novels: "Resting in the Bosom of the Lamb,

Praise Jerusalem," and "Sophie and the Rising Sun." The

latter book is currently being made into a film. It is still in the script

development stage but Trobaugh says that some very familiar Hollywood

names are being mentioned for parts.

Sophie is a

Southern lady who had been dedicated to the care of her mother and aunt

until their deaths. In the late thirties a Japanese gardener came to help

a neighbor with her garden. Their romance, if it can be called that, consists

of a friendly smile or nod in passing until Dec. 7, 1941.

Omega Book

Store will have a limited number of books for signing.
