"The current name doesn't
reflect the changed nature of its future use," said Cathy Nelmes,
chairman of the authority. "We would like the name to represent the
commercial aviation use of the adjacent property."
This renamed section of Stallings
Road will serve the Industrial Park as well as a newly acquired parcel
of land to be used in developing commercial and privately owned aviation
related enterprises.
As is, the road is the primary
access point for several businesses new to the Falcon Field area.
