He went on

to say that he "hopes to carry on the tradition of keeping his squadron

the best in Georgia" and that he "would like to give the cadets

the same great experiences and opportunities I have had." His younger

brother Matt is also a CAP cadet officer.

Tim credits

his first cadet commander, Nick Matcheck of Peachtree City, as being an

early-on example "of what I wanted to be one day." Outside of

CAP, Tim credits his parents for supporting him and urging him "to

stick with it".

Tim, who is

home-schooled, has future plans to attend a local college for a year and

then enroll in a larger college, join ROTC, and major in an aerospace

field.

In addition

to his Civil Air Patrol duties, Tim says he "enjoys almost any sport,

including racquetball, tennis, basketball, roller hockey, running, surfing

and skateboarding." And as if that wasn't enough, Tim says "for

a hobby" he has taken up amateur filmmaking.
