In the play,

when Jesus announces that one of his disciples will betray him, the characters

ask, "Is it I?' and freeze in the pose of the Da Vinci painting.

Each disciple

then gives an individual performance, telling about his relationship with

Jesus, how he met Him, and how he became involved in His ministry.

The final performance

is that of Jesus himself.

Outlaw says

it a good way for the people in the audience to learn more about the disciples
