The field will

be built of a special synthetic turf which will provide a better playing

surface than a normal dirt and grass field.

Kicks 101.5

announced yesterday that it would host a second fund-raising softball

tournament Saturday, March 23 in Peachtree City to benefit the Field of

Hope. Kicks personalities will take on a team from "another country

music station." Country Clash 2 will also feature Lee Greenwood singing

the national anthem with a post-game concert.

The concert

will feature country stars Sammy Kershaw and Jeff Bates.

The Field of

Hope will cost approximately $630,000, and cash donations and in-kind

support is still needed. It will serve approximately 30,000 special needs

children in south metro Atlanta.

on how to help, contact Jim Daughtry at 770-632-5611 or Nick Harris at
