CDM will offer fitness workshop

Ministries (CDM) in Tyrone will present a series of six informational

workshops beginning with "A Call to Fitness," Saturday, Jan.

25, from 1-5 p.m. The workshop will be led by Donna Lawrence and a small

handout fee will be charged. Lawrence has over 15 years of study and formulation

of data and has spoken to large and small groups at nutritional seminars.

Lawrence says she feels that "disease and weight problems have a

stronghold on America and the Bible speaks to us concerning our health."

Fayetteville First UMC to

sponsor blood drive

The Fayetteville

First United Methodist church will sponsor a Red Cross blood drive Sunday,

Jan. 19, from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the church gym. For information on
