4. The President's plan eliminates
the double taxation on dividends; almost half of this savings will benefit
Americans 65 and older.
5. The President's plan encourages
small businesses, which account for half of our nation's economic output,
to invest in equipment and new technology.
6. The President's plan will
aid unemployed workers through new personal reemployment account up to
$3,000 and help them find a job.
As a taxpayer, I believe President
Bush has the right proposal at the right time. I believe it is the right
plan for America's taxpayers.
