The Midget

(12 and under) girls also once again captured first place team by an outstanding

margin, with four athletes in the top nine places. The Midget (12 and

under) boys also finished first in their age group by edging out Walton

Youth Track Club. Several of the boys ran PR's (personal best record)

to help push the team to this victory.

Several local

high school runners joined the Flash athletes in the higher age groups,

after finishing the high school season last week. Kristin Horton of Starr's

Mill again rose to the occasion with an outstanding performance finishing

second for Flash in the Youth (14 and under) girls. Three McIntosh and

two Sandy Creek athletes also joined forces to secure a second place finish

for the Intermediate (16 and under) girls.
