Participants
in the program are recognized for their efforts by an Adopt-A-Park sign
at the parks with the names of the individual, organization or business.
The recreation
department has several areas in larger parks that are still available
for adoption, including the Beaver Dam park in the Wynnmeade subdivision,
Clover Reach park, Drake Field, the soccer fields at the Glenloch Recreation
Complex, the Jim Meade Memorial Fields on Ga. Highway 74 South, and Shakerag
Knoll.

on the Adopt-A-Park program, contact Joyce Williams at 770-631-2542.
