Granola, coffee, juice, and
milk were available for a small fee and served by Peeples' staff and PTO
volunteers.
The early morning breakfast
allowed students to introduce their grandparents to the school, their
teachers, and classrooms. Many students were accompanied by several grandparents
while others brought just one.
The well attended breakfast
was held in conjunction with the school's Scholastic Book Fair. Many students
took advantage of this opportunity to shop for their favorite books with
their grandparents.
