"Our shopping

atmosphere is easy and fun because our non-commissioned sales staff is

committed to helping shoppers find the products and services to improve

their lives."

The Fayetteville

store incorporates the most recent Best Buy store redesign. Features of

the new design include customers flowing through a single-line checkout,

wider aisles for better traffic flow, and a transaction center to help

with complex purchases.

The 45,000

square-foot store features a large selection of name-brand consumer electronics,

personal computers, software and appliances.

Shoppers can

test fully-functioning display products throughout the store, allowing

them to "try before they buy". Making shopping even easier,

merchandise is grouped in departments such as Entertainment Software;

Digital Cameras and Camcorders; and Wireless and Satellite Systems.

The store also

features:

An entertainment

software area with more than 15,000 CDs, 425 VHS movies, 1,000 computer

software titles and 3,400 DVD movies;

Demonstration

areas to sample music CDs, DVD movies, computer software and video games;

A "Boom

Room" for listening to the latest in car audio systems;

The latest

in Wireless, Digital Television and Home Theater technology;

BestBuy.com

Web stations as a research tool, offering expanded selection and convenience

of purchasing a product online with the choice of home delivery or in-store

pick-up;

Professional

in-store technicians to handle PC setups, upgrades, repairs, and peripheral

in stallations;

Dependable

delivery and installation scheduling for major appliances and home theater;

A mobile installation

area, staffed with licensed technicians, to install a full range of audio,

video, wireless and navigational devices in automobiles.

Best Buy has

hired approximately 150 full- and part-time employees to staff

the new store in cashier, customer service, non-commissioned sales and

management positions.

This will be

the first store in Fayetteville and the 16th

Best Buy store in Georgia.

The Fayetteville

store is one of approximately 67 new retail locations Best Buy will

open across the country in 2002.

Dedicated to

being a true "good neighbor", Best Buy works with a number of

nonprofit organizations that can link Best Buy support and resources to

communities where Best Buy stores are located.

Children and

families in Fayetteville are now eligible to be involved in a number of

Best Buy/nonprofit relationships, including those with the United Way,

Junior Achievement and Toys for Tots.
