Doodle the
Clown will return to Peachtree City and will entertain the children with
her new Magic show. "Doodle has become very popular with the area
youth and has developed a lot of friendships with her fans who email her
often " according to Bernice Wassell, recreation coordinator. "Doodle
is a master at face painting and balloon sculpting. She will introduce
the Funday crowd to new games that she created and will teach the youth
some elements on becoming a clown."
In the afternoon
the Atlanta Center for Puppetry Arts will present a Scarecrow Workshop
and Sarah Opp will teach a session on Children's Folk Art. " If you
ask the kids what they like best about Funday, most will say they love
the open gym time or anytime they get to play in the gym" according
to Sherry McHugh, recreation administrator. " We close the Kedron
gym and multi purpose rink to the public for specified time segments while
we conduct Funday Activities in October and February, says McHugh. "Each
of our recreation coordinators' are assigned a small group of children
for the day. We get to have fun and the children are supervised by a group
of experienced competent adults throughout the day. "
Parents are
