Topics covered include neighborhood
conditions, employment, homelessness, crime and safety, disability access,
childcare and education.
The survey, which began in
August and has been extended into October 2002, will help county departments
determine where to allocate funds for the 2003 budget year.
Forms are also being mailed
to property owners and distributed at various County facilities and service
sites. Human Services staff will also conduct the survey door-to-door
in selected areas in September and October.
