The Festival
of Trees is an annual event featuring an enormous holiday extravaganza
benefiting Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, one of the largest pediatric
healthcare systems in the country. Children's Healthcare is recognized
for excellence in cardiology, cancer treatment, transplant services and
many other pediatric specialties and, as a nonprofit organization, depends
on the philanthropic and volunteer support of the community. This year's
Festival will benefit the organization's "Healing Without Hurting"
program, which will provide education and equipment for reducing pain
during the treatment of accidents and illness.
Founded in
1970, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods is currently building in
25 neighborhoods across Atlanta. Named "National Builder of the Year"
and "National Housing Quality Award Winner", the company is
the Southeast's leading builder of move-up homes. Cabinetcraft is one
of fourteen sister companies that fall under the Wieland umbrella. While
having a long-standing commitment to community development and involvement
in the Atlanta Metro area, John Wieland Homes & Neighborhoods and
its company members donate not only money and gifts, but also their personal
time and energy by building homes for Habitat for Humanity, participating
in fund-raising events, tutoring children and much much more. To learn
