Have you ever
wondered what the personality of Jesus was really like? I'm not talking
about His divinity or His divine purpose for coming or the fact that he
gave himself for the sins of mankind that we might have eternal life.
I'm talking about what was He like to be around as a person.
We only have
the accounts of His birth and then He reappears at twelve years of age
in the temple astounding the religious leaders. We know He was a carpenter's
son and worked in His Fathers shop. We further know He begins His ministry
at 30 and is crucified at 33.
We also know
that it was the religious leaders that had him crucified. He kept crossing
over the lines socially, religiously, racially, culturally and this is
what got Him eventually killed. He was seen with sinners, beggars, women
of the streets, and even tax collectors. Imagine Him claming to be the
"Son of God!"
As we further
examine His personality, He appeared to be a man who so loved God His
Father that he would use any and everything to get His point across. He
did this very effectively in images He would create by the telling of
stories in what the Bible calls "parables."
Saturday, Aug.

Arena in Senoia. The gates will open at 6 p.m. rodeo will begin at 8.
