The development

will have 151 single-family detached homes featuring Turn of the Century

styles and priced starting in the $220,000s. The builders are all established

and well known local companies, including Mike Harrell & Associates,

Ravin Homes and Ray Wright Homes. In addition to these Village and Cottage

homes, these three builders will also build 22 Estate homes on larger

homesites.

Work is also

scheduled to begin in approximately 30 days on 30 townhouses which will

be built by Chris Dixon & Associates, another well known member of

the local building community.

Mike Harrell

& Associates and Chris Dixon & Associates are being represented

in the development by Jan Trammell Realty, whose agent, Jackie Ard, can

be contacted at 404-925-1350. Ravin Homes' in-house marketing agent is

DeSales Degolian, whose number is 770 487-9608 Ext. 305. Ray Wright Homes

has chosen Re/Max Results to handle sales, with Marcia Bolton as the on-site

agent. Her numbers are 678-817-6921 or 770-631-3300 Ext. 301.

The Villages

at LaFayette Park is an approximately 110-acre development three blocks

west of the Old Courthouse Square in Fayetteville and bordered by State

Hwy. 54 on the south and the Fayette County High School complex on the

north. The developer, The Eagle Group, has described the concept as similar

to Celebration in Florida.

The infrastructure,

including streets, water, sewer and drainage have been completed for the

community, which will also contain several parks, commercial and office

space, and The Villages Amphitheater. Ground was broken recently for the

amphitheater, which will be a multiuse venue representing all aspects

of the cultural arts and educational community.

Located on

a three-acre tract at the intersection of LaFayette Avenue and Tiger Trail,

the amphitheater will share the parking lot at Fayette County High School.
