The association's
Scholarship Program annually provides scholarships toward paying for the
freshmen year in college for several students from the area served by
the home builders group. Since the program was created 20 years ago, the
association has awarded 147 scholarships totaling $209,500.
The Scholarship
House is built utilizing volunteer time and materials from members of
the association.
The Home Builders
Association of Midwest Georgia serves builders in Fayette, Coweta, Spalding,
Meriwether and Heard counties.
