Ancestor also was honored

Sgt. Hufstetler was in McCarthy's

Co. 17th Battalion Georgia Infantry and fought to save Cooper's Iron Furnace

on the Etowah River in Cartersville.

My mother, Mrs. Allie Hufstetler

McMichen, is the only living grandchild. She has been in Lafayette Nursing

Home since May 2001, and was unable to attend the dedication.

Anyway. Thanks for the story.
