Jerry Peterson

from SCT and Judy Kubitz from The Home Depot attended the Court of Honor,

where the Scouts presented them with a plaque commemorating their assistance.

The plaque will be displayed in The Home Depot's new Peachtree City location.

The Eagle rank

is the highest award in Boy Scouts, achieved by only 1 percent of all

boys who initially join Scouts. The four new Eagle Scouts each earned

at least 27 merit badges, well above the minimum of 21 merit badges required

to earn the Eagle rank.

In addition,

Condon, Lorber and Powers earned the Arrow of Light Award; Condon and

Powers earned their religious knots and Mile Swim Award; Lorber and Taylor

earned the 50-Miler Award and attended Philmont (N.M.) Scout Ranch; and

all four earned the World Conservation Award.
