"Deaf
people live with discrimination, frustration, and misunderstanding. The
biggest burden they face is hearing people who do not understand the facts
of life in a silent or muffled world," Lamb added. "Sunday's
service is dedicated to helping people better understand the facts of
life in a silent and muffled world and to help people to reach out together
to 'Shatter the Silence.'"
