volunteers pulled together last weekend to install the second phase of
equipment at the Luther Holt Memorial All Children's Playground in Peachtree
City.
The playground,
located at Picnic Park near City Hall, is designed to be accessible to
all children, featuring surfaces that can be navigated by children using
wheelchairs, walkers or with other physical challenges.
The second
phase includes bigger slides and more play panels. It is attached to the
first phase but is one foot higher off the ground, said Randy Gaddo, director
of leisure services for Peachtree City.
The new area

said. He wanted to thank
Funds for the
playground have been raised through community donations from local businesses
and residents.
A third and
final phase is planned for the playground. To donate or become a sponsor,

The facility
was designed by Hasley Recreation and Design of Greensboro, which has
helped the community volunteers install the equipment to cut costs for
the project.
