Hwy. 54 West road work will speed up soon

Meanwhile,

local residents can expect a flurry of trucks between Friday at 10 p.m.

and midnight Saturday.

That's the

time frame Compass Construction has to begin its installation of the concrete

foundation for the building, which will become the largest retail structure

in the city. City officials signed off on the time frame to minimize the

impact on traffic in the area.
