I am supporting Mayor Brown

in his efforts to take a step back and try to see the whole picture. Businesses

are important, but people are more important. The growth of Peachtree

City has to have some kind of plan or it will be just another suburb of

Atlanta. Is this what we want?

It is true that Steve Brown

and Bob Lenox didn't see eye to eye. They have different philosophies

about Peachtree City. The citizens of Peachtree City elected Mayor Brown

Let's call these committees

that are studying the growth of PTC his "transition team." Now,

our job is to offer suggestions and not to throw insults and accusations.

What good does that do?

If my children behaved like

some of the people at the moratorium meeting, the kids would be in "time

out." Hey, that's not a bad idea. A moratorium on the whining: Go

to your room!
