The Chet Wells
Award for 2001 has been given to Vicki Turner.
It is presented
to the member that has served the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce over
and beyond the call of duty.
Turner was
acknowledged as unselfishly sharing her time, talent, enthusiasm and energy
for the chamber. Members said she knows whom to contact to get almost
any job done and the finished product is always one the chamber is proud
to share with the community.
She was characterized
as getting the word out about what the chamber is doing, where it stands
on issues and where opportunities lie for outreach and community involvement.
Along with
her husband, Tom, she is a principal with AIS Computers.
