Local N.A.A.C.P. seeks information

and data:

The Fayette County Branch of

the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)

is examining the application and implementation of the "loco-parentis"

policy that allows public school educators and administrators act on a

parent's behalf when students are in public school environments.

All parents who have children

that have been disciplined or charged with criminal violations based upon

information obtained by school administrators are asked to call 770-460-9934

and provide contact and background information. This data will be kept

confidential.

The Rev. Edward J. Johnson

President, Fayette NAACP
